The report by L.V. Rychkov (Belarus) "Technological breakthrough in lexicography: new opportunities or new challenges?" had a wide response among the conference participants. V.V. Dubicinski (Poland) and T. Roytar (Austria) introduced a new type of dictionary that describes the meanings of the lexical parallels of the Ukrainian and German languages, which makes it possible to reveal the national and cultural specifics of words in a systematic way. G. M. Sklyarevska (Russia) turned to the subject of the classification of dictionaries and finding a place for explanatory lexicographic sources in the general typology of dictionaries. V. P. Rusak and Yu.S. Getsevich (Belarus) told about their achievements, which allowed them to optimize the work of lexicographers and successfully publish the Orthoepic Dictionary of Belarusian Language. The interest among the conference participants was aroused by the report "Philosophy of the Dictionary" by V.A. Shyrokov (Ukraine), founder of the Ukrainian scientific school of linguistic technologies, author of the information theory of lexicographic systems.
