During the quarantine, staff of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund actively worked in the remote access format.

Information technology specialists provided uninterrupted online access to virtual laboratories: "System of Linguistic Interaction "VLL", "Ukrainian National Linguistic Corpus", etc.

This enabled lexicographers and editors to work remotely on the project "Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language in 20 volumes". During the quarantine, 533 new lexemes were added and developed by lexicographers, and about 5,000 lexemes were significantly changed.

The Accounting Department of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine was provided with the appropriate software for remote work, which enabled to draw the payroll for employees on time. Employees of the Accounting Department masterfully, quickly and efficiently used tools for remote access.

On February 21, Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine and its partners from different regions of Ukraine celebrated International Mother Language Day.

Ukrainian Lexicography Centre of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine (represented by its Head Margaryta Nadutenko, Candidate of Philological Sciences, researcher of the Linguistics Department, Researcher of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) and Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology (represented by Associate Professor Oleksandr Stavytskyi, candidate of economic Sciences, Head of Computer Technology Department of the Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology) have launched a joint pilot project “Testing. "Orthography. The New Ukrainian Spelling"”.

The 10th volume of the fundamental academic explanatory Dictionary of Ukrainian Language in 20 volumes has been published:

December 3, 2019, in the House of Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine there was a scientific and cultural event — the Gala Academy "The World Was Catching Me But Didn't Catch...", which was held on the occasion of the 297th anniversary of Hryhoriy Skovoroda.

The organizers of the Gala Academy "The World Was Catching Me But Didn't Catch..." were the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Borys Oliynyk Ukrainian Culture Fund, Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of the NAS of Ukraine, and Kyiv House of Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Language Dictionary in 20 volumes covers the general vocabulary of modern Ukrainian literary language, common terms, dialecticisms, and well-established phrases. Sources, used in the dictionary, reflect the vocabulary of fiction texts since the late 18th century to the present day, the Bible, folk art, journalism, popular science and scientific works, the language of mass media, etc.

The dictionary is designed for a wide range of users, who are interested in Ukrainian language.

It is recommended for publication by scientists of the Councils of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the O. O. Potebnia Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Editorial Board of the Ukrainian Language Dictionary in 20 volumes
