On February 21, Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine and its partners from different regions of Ukraine celebrated International Mother Language Day.

Scientific secretary of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Philological Sciences Zaika Natalia participated in the Scientific-Practical Conference "New Life of Seeks a New Word", which was held at the Gymnasium №283 in Kyiv, at which she introduced the audience to the  new spelling.

6. Sumy State Pedagogical University and Mechanical Engineering College of Sumy State University participated in the Pilot project “Testing. "Orthography. The New Ukrainian Spelling"”.

7. Online presentation of the lesson of the Ukrainian language using electronic dictionaries of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund (Municipal Institution Sumy Secondary School of grades I-III № 27. Developer — Natalia Solaryova, teacher of Ukrainian language and literature).

8. Online meeting for the International Mother Language Day.

Organizer: Ukrainian Lexicography Center.

Key issues of the meeting:

• prospects of using electronic dictionaries of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund in the educational process (school education, vocational and higher education);
• presentation of methodological developments on the use of electronic dictionaries by partners of the Ukrainian Lingua-Information Fund of the national Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
